How to Delete Your Account
You can request deletion of your IncidentApp account and all associated data at any time. There are two ways to do this:
Option 1: From Within the App
Step 1
Open IncidentApp and go to Settings.
Step 2
Tap Account, then tap Delete My Account.
Step 3
Confirm deletion when prompted. Your account and data will be scheduled for removal.
Option 2: By Email
Send an email to connect@appalanche.ai with the subject line "Account Deletion Request" and include the email address or phone number associated with your account. We will process your request within 30 days.
What Gets Deleted
When you request account deletion, we will permanently remove:
- Your account profile (name, email, phone number)
- Any cloud-synced incident data associated with your account
- Usage data and analytics tied to your account
What Is NOT Affected
- Local data on your device: Data stored locally on your phone is not affected by an account deletion request. To remove local data, clear the app's data in your device settings or uninstall the app.
- Cryptographic hashes: If you used evidence integrity features, the cryptographic hashes (digital fingerprints) created for verification purposes are permanent and cannot be deleted. These hashes contain no personal information.
- Legal obligations: We may retain certain data as required by law, such as records needed for legal compliance, fraud prevention, or dispute resolution. Any retained data will be kept only for the minimum period required.
Processing Time
Account deletion requests are processed within 30 days. You will receive an email confirmation once your account and data have been permanently deleted.
